Adrian was struggling to find the right words, but Jennifer just looked on with an icy stare, unmoved by his explanations.

This made Adrian even more uneasy.

"You think someone staged this photo?" Jennifer asked with a hint of sarcasm.

Adrian nodded. "I really don't know her. Someone must have arranged this. Just trust me this time. I didn't do it."

Clearly, Jennifer wasn't convinced. “Adrian, do you actually realize how you come across? You haven't changed a bit. You're still the player you once were!"
