Chapter: 1832
"I'll get you some bodyguards," Holden stated firmly.

Ariana was surprised. Waving her hand dismissively, she said, “Thanks, but no. We live in a law-abiding society; I don't need bodyguards.”

Noticing Holden's slightly pale complexion, she took his cold hand and reassured him, “Besides, it was just an accident. No need to worry."

"No," Holden said firmly. "I'm getting you bodyguards."

Then, he realized his tone might have been harsh, so he explained further, “Even if this was just a coincidence, being targeted by obsessed fans isn't accidental. Having bodyguards would provide added security."

Upon hearing Holden's words, Ariana's mind wandered back to the recent incident. She couldn't retort.

After a pause, Holden added, "My bodyguards will accompany you discreetly; they won't disrupt your daily activities in any way."

Ariana replied, "I'm not convinced it's needed." Given her lack of experience with bodyguards, the thought of constant surveillance made her feel uneasy.

His gaze unwavering, Holden said firmly, “It's a necessity. I can't risk anything happening to you."

Ariana hesitated before choosing to stay quiet. Observing her reluctance, Holden made a concerted effort to persuade her, eventually winning her over with a nod of agreement.

Outside the dessert shop, they composed themselves before pushing open the door and entering.

Spotting them, Melon rushed over excitedly and wrapped himself around Ariana's legs. Holding up a folded piece of paper, he exclaimed, “Mommy, look at this! Isn't the origami I made with Adele beautiful?"

"Yeah, you've done a great job!" Ariana complimented him with a smile, patting Melon's head affectionately.

Melon's kindergarten would host a party to showcase the children's handicrafts soon.

Pleased with Ariana's approval, Melon looked happily at Ariana and Holden, asking eagerly, “Will you both come to the party?"

Holden and Ariana shared a glance and said, "Of course."

"Awesome!" Melon skipped joyfully to Adele and asked eagerly, "Are you coming to the party, too, Adele?"

Munching on biscuits with her hands, Adele nodded and whispered softly, "Yes."

With several days passing without any communication from Holden.

Sadie's anxiety grew. Determined, she dressed impeccably and made her way to the BRD Group to see Holden.
