Chapter: 1840
Upon hearing this, Maxwell's earlier discontent vanished immediately.

Sporting a smile, he proceeded to praise Sonia, saying, “Putting aside the genre, your novel is undeniably captivating. Your writing flows smoothly, and the vocabulary is exceptional. It's no surprise you hold a senior position in the media industry."

Sonia, feeling suddenly uncomfortable with the praise, covered her ears and exclaimed, “Are you finished? If you're done eating, would you mind leaving? Please?"

Maxwell chuckled and resumed eating his steak. “I'm not done yet," he replied.

Maxwell remained determined to delve into the contents of Sonia's novel, prolonging the discussion and causing Sonia's blush to deepen.

Meanwhile, Sonia continued to sip her soup, feigning ignorance of his remarks.

Maxwell found it uncommon to witness Sonia so flustered. He smiled and said, "I declined your resignation request."

Surprised, Sonia looked at him and asked, "What? Are you not angry with me?"

Maxwell smiled at her and replied, “Why would I be angry? You portrayed me as someone incredible in bed."

Feeling embarrassed, Sonia bowed her head and quietly sipped her soup.

Maxwell then went on, praising Sonia's writing style but pointing out that her work was not realistic enough.

Sonia inquired with curiosity, "What do you mean by ‘not realistic enough'?" She had striven to faithfully capture Maxwell's appearance and character in her novel.

Determined to grasp his critique, she asked, "In what areas do you believe it's not realistic enough?"

She then listed various elements of her writing that she considered significant, emphasizing Maxwell's nuanced reactions in different settings. She felt a sense of pride in her portrayal, believing it to be outstanding.

Maxwell nodded contemplatively as he heard her examples. Then, he said, “Your portrayal of these instances is certainly praiseworthy, but one aspect appears somewhat unrealistic-the frequency of intimate encounters."

"You mean..." Sonia hesitated, her eyes widening in disbelief as she looked at Maxwell. "You're saying that having sex ten times in a single night isn't enough?"

After Sonia completed her sentence, Maxwell patted her head hard.

"Ouch!" Sonia cried out, covering her head with her hands.

Feeling resigned, Maxwell looked at Sonia and remarked, "I believe you've indulged in too many explicit novels. A regular person wouldn't be able to have sex that many times a night."

Sonia's expression turned incredulous. She pursed her lips and shook her head, saying, “That's impossible! I've come across such descriptions in numerous literary works. If that's your opinion, it suggests your own stamina is lacking."
