Chapter: 1895
When Ariana heard this, she clenched her teeth and asked, “Is it Zayden?"
Bennett didn't confirm or deny. He just chuckled again and said, "You don't need the details. All you need to know is that your life belongs to me now. You better behave, my little prey."
Ariana was really angry now. She had already been scared, and his words just pushed her to the edge. "My life has always been mine! You heartless people treat human lives like they're just things to be bought and sold! You're monsters! So despicable!"
Bennett was lounging casually with his legs crossed, sitting in front of his computer, watching Ariana turn red with anger. He ignored her words, sipped his wine, and thought to himself how interesting she was.
After Ariana had calmed down a bit, she swallowed her anger and said, "What do you want to let me go? I can pay whatever you ask."
She paused, then added, "I admit, Zayden and I have some bad history, but that's our problem. He's a snake, always ready to betray people, never loyal."
She clenched her teeth and continued, “You seem important with all your businesses and territories. Don't lower yourself to his level. Siding with a rat like Zayden will backfire someday."
Ariana tried to sound reasonable, hoping to persuade her captor to at least guarantee her safety.
“Well, it's nice to hear you say that," Bennett replied mockingly after she finished speaking. "You seem eager to leave, and I might consider it. But everything comes with a price. If you can entertain me, I might set you free."
Bennett casually played with a pen on his desk and watched Ariana on his screen.
Frowning, Ariana tightened her grip on the phone cord. “What do you mean?" she asked.
Bennett chuckled and patiently explained, “Exactly what it sounds like. You know what usually happens between a man and a woman. You'll need to entertain me in bed."
Ariana hadn't expected him to be so shameless. Losing her composure, she exclaimed, "I thought you had a vision, not this."
After venting a bit more, she angrily hung up.
Realizing her enemy was stubborn and ruthless, Ariana knew she had to save herself. Trapped but not defeated, she refused to give up.
Having survived a deadly ordeal before, she was determined to find a way out now.
As she paced the room nervously, biting her fingernails, she noticed they hadn't restricted her movements within the house. The place was large, with only a few accessible rooms, almost like a giant escape room.
With that realization, Ariana decided to take risks and began searching the house more boldly for clues to escape.
While searching for a way out, she suddenly noticed a small security camera blinking red in the corner.
When Ariana spotted the camera, a realization struck her. Hadn't that man claimed he was monitoring her every move? Could cameras be hidden throughout the house?
