When Maxwell saw Sonia crying, he was concerned and confused at the same time. He thought he had made her cry, so he hurriedly said, "I didn't mean to upset you about work. I only want to let you know that we really can't do it without you."

Sonia was fuming inside. She wanted to yell at him, but she still couldn't find her voice. She was already terrified, but he was still talking about work. Didn't he know the gravity of her situation? If she was disabled, how could she still do her job?

Sonia cried even harder.
