Adrian's thoughts raced, and suddenly, the possibility of Bennett being involved crossed his mind.

Could Bennett still be alive?

This thought puzzled Adrian deeply. If Bennett was indeed alive, why would he remain hidden?

It was then that Shawn's voice reached Adrian again. “Mr. Fredrick looks severely injured, and it's getting darker now; we need to leave swiftly."

With immediate agreement, Adrian nodded, and they quickly took Holden back and got on a plane destined for a safe location.

As Holden awoke, the first sight that greeted him was a doctor tending to his hand with a bandage.

Ignoring his injuries, Holden shoved the doctor aside and began frantically calling for Ariana.

Adrian, who had been idly flipping through a magazine nearby, snapped the magazine shut and approached Holden, waving.

“Hey, you remember me?" he asked with a smile.

Given Holden's car accident five years ago, which had wiped his memory, Adrian was always concerned Holden might lose his memory again.

Holden pushed Adrian's hand away and asked, "Where is Ariana?"

It seemed Holden hadn't forgotten anything. Adrian's lips curved into a relieved smile as he responded, "Don't worry. I had her flown back to Eleymond on a private jet, accompanied by a doctor."

Upon hearing that, Holden finally allowed himself to relax and then inquired about how Adrian had found him.

Adrian recounted the whole event. Holden, still puzzled, furrowed his brow. “A car? I do remember hearing the sound of a car before I blacked out."

"Could Bennett have been behind this "“ Adrian said thoughtfully.

Holden shook his head uncertainly. “I'm not sure."

Now reassured of Ariana's safety, Holden was more receptive to receiving medical attention. After the doctor finished bandaging him, he donned a jacket passed to him by one of his men.

As he slipped into the jacket, Holden found a piece of paper in his pocket.
