Chapter: 2068
“Aren't you tired being in that posture for so long? Why don't you finish up and lie down on the bed to rest?" Jennifer suggested, looking at Adrian's back.

Engrossed in his meal, Adrian simply wiggled his butt in delight, ignoring Jennifer's suggestion.

Struggling to keep her patience, Jennifer stepped outside briefly, returning with a bell.

She tiptoed towards Adrian, ringing the bell softly as she approached.

When Adrian glanced up, she shook the bell more vigorously, hoping the sound would lure him toward the bed.

Unexpectedly, Adrian's reaction was hostile. He narrowed his eyes as he growled.

Jennifer jumped when Adrian suddenly shouted at her. This outburst instantly made her angry. She snapped, "Adrian, are you seriously yelling at me? How dare you!"

Caught off guard by Jennifer's reaction, Adrian could only stare at her, his eyes wide with surprise.

Jennifer was far from calming down. She stepped forward, closing the gap between them, and stood right in front of Adrian.

When Adrian took a step back with his tiger posture instinctively, Jennifer gripped his shoulder firmly, ensuring he could not escape.

“Feeling brave, are you?" Jennifer said tersely. "Have you forgotten who I am? I'm your wife!"

Adrian couldn't understand Jennifer and could only respond with a growl, baring his teeth as he tried to match her intensity.

Jennifer's frown deepened, and her annoyance was palpable.

She was angry that her husband had not only transformed into a “tiger” but also dared to challenge her. She was not one to be messed with!

As her anger grew, so did her assertiveness. Placing her hands firmly on her hips, Jennifer said sharply, “Continue this, and I'LL remove all the food from that couch. You can starve here in the hospital for all I care!"

Concerned that Adrian might not fully understand the threat, Jennifer pointed at the food piled on the couch and then gestured as if tossing it away.

Seeing Jennifer's actions, Adrian shrank back, his expression turning sad and his eyes resembling those of a defeated puppy.

Suddenly, Jennifer felt her heart soften, cursing herself for being too harsh to Adrian.

"It's okay; you don't have to be frightened," Jennifer said gently, stroking his head. "I'm sorry, little tiger. I was too harsh. Can you forgive me?"

But her worry soon returned.
