Chapter: 667
Theodore raised a brow and asked tentatively, "Does it have anything to do with me?"

"Come on! Who will waste such a rare opportunity on you?"

Ariana didn't give a straight answer. She quickly looked away and started talking about something else.

Theodore stared at her with shining eyes and said nothing.

“Oh, let me go get the wheelchair." As she spoke, Ariana stood up and walked up the slope. She didn't dare tun around. Touching her belly, she felt the baby inside move. She thought about the wish she had just made.

She hoped that she, Theodore, and the unborn baby, could be happy forever.

The wheelchair got lost in the shuffle down the hill. Ariana searched all around for it but couldn't find it. After that, she went back to the tree.

Theodore was still seated where she had left him. He was having a conversation over the phone when she returned. His statements made it plain that he was asking Horace to bring a replacement wheelchair to their location.

After Theodore ended the call, he waved to Ariana.

"Come sit here with me. The new wheelchair won't arrive anytime soon."

Ariana sat down next to him and rested her head against his sturdy shoulder.

“My bad. Everything I predicted came to pass." Ariana felt a twinge of annoyance. It was unwise of her to say those things at the edge of the slope just now. That was entirely her fault in every respect.

Theodore chuckled and clutched her hands.

"This is our second date. It's going to leave an indelible impression on our mind."

"Is that so?" She talked to him with a tone of regret as she gazed at him.

"To some extent, you are right. It is genuinely memorable, but not in a good way. So many things went wrong on our date that I believe it's fair to say it was a bust!"

How could someone fall down a slope during a date? It was so ridiculous.

As Ariana ruminated on it, she spiraled into a melancholy state. She had initially hoped to capture a photo with him under the meteor shower, but the incident earlier had thrown her off course.

Theodore, on the other hand, was in high spirits.
