Chapter: 668
"I think it was a great date," he exclaimed. He then leaned in and planted a kiss on her forehead, sending a wave of warmth through her.
"As long as I'm with you, any experience is a good one.”
"Really?" Ariana's face lit up with joy at his words. She grasped his head and peppered his face with kisses.
"As long as you're happy, I'm happy too. I just don't want you to have a bad time.”
Theodore shook his head eamestly.
"The place you picked was perfect. We even stumbled upon a meteor shower by chance. I've been considering buying this land to tum it into a private resort for us to visit frequently. That way, we won't have to deal with so many people."
He yearned for some peace and quiet with Ariana, free from the distractions of others.
“Mr. Anderson, can you please try to curb your extravagant lifestyle? Is there really nowhere else for you to spend your money?" Ariana teased.
Theodore chuckled and playfully pinched her cheek.
"I just want to make sure that when we come here in the future, you'll always feel good.”
Ariana grasped his hand and planted a kiss on it.
"I understand. I didn't expect so many people to show up because of the meteor shower. And those rowdy kids really ruined the ambiance."
The two mischievous children who knocked them over earlier had fled the scene, showing no sign of remorse. If anything really happened, things would become ugly.
If something had gone wrong and the baby in her belly had been harmed, the outcome could have been disastrous. Ariana resolved to stay clear of such troublemakers in the future.
Theodore was equally frustrated with the children's behavior. He pinched her nose and muttered, "Our little one doesn't behave like that."
Initially confused about whom he was referring to, Ariana soon realized that he was talking about Alina. She couldn't help but scold him lightly, "Her name is Alina."
To her surprise, Theodore didn't appear to be put off by Alina and even seemed to be fond of her.
Ariana thought for a moment before asking cautiously, "Do you think raising a child will prove to be an arduous task?"
“I don't think so," Theodore answered without hesitation.
"You seem to really like Alina. We could even consider her as our goddaughter."
