Chapter: 1003
That only left two possibilities. It had to be one of the two actors who won the awards for best actor.
Rooney Crawford, the male lead in this movie who successfully transformed from being the idol star, to the talented man who won the award for the best actor.
He was already over thirty-five years old, but he still looked Like a young man of twenty-seven or twenty-eight. He had good skin, and he took good care of himself.
The other actor who had won the best actor award was Jay Reed. He would play the supporting male role in the movie Female Military Counsellor
Jay had played the role of a scholar in Lots of his movies. He Looked a lot like a real knowledgeable man as well.
Finally, one actor decided to speak up and ask what was on everyone's mind.
“Who will explain the script to us? Mr. Crawford or Mr. Reed?"
Before the director could give an answer, Jay said with a smile, "I just signed up. Also, I just got the script, so I'm still studying it."
This made everyone to look at Rooney who immediately shook his head too.
“It won't be me either. I Love Mia's works deeply, but I doubt I can play my role well without help. How can I help you with your roles then?"
Everyone was even more confused with his answer
If the two best actors couldn't talk them through the script, then who else could do it?
They had definitely explored all the possibilities.
The director coughed again and Looked at Maria. "Maria... I don't mean to bother you, but..."
Most people froze for a second when the director, Francis addressed Maria.
It wasn't possible, was it?
Maybe he was just mistaken.
There were so many senior colleagues of his in the crew and many of them had won the awards of best director, best scriptwriter, best protagonist and best supporting role.
In fact, the crew of the movie Female Military Counsellor were carefully selected and they were all capable people. ALL the members of this crew seemed better than Maria to do the job.
Some of them even doubted if Maria could understand the script.
So, it was really confusing when Francis addressed her with so much respect.
If they didn't know better, they would have thought that he was begging her to do it.
“Okay!"
Maria agreed readily.
