Chapter: 1010
If it weren't for the fact that Maria was the female lead for the movie, the makeup artist wouldn't even think that Maria deserved her service.

She said indifferently, “Miss Jenkins, please wait a moment.

Your turn will come after I finish doing makeup for Miss Tucker."

The makeup artist spoke down to Maria without even asking for her opinion on the matter.

Jessie secretly gave her a thumbs up, and the makeup artist couldn't help but smile to herself.

“You want me to wait? Shouldn't you ask me for my permission first?" Maria was not a short-tempered person, but she was not a timid little girl either. She would never allow herself to be a pushover.

Hearing Maria's words, Jessie just sneered, as if it was beneath her to answer such a childish question.

It was up to the makeup artist to step in and answer with a faint smile on her face.

“Miss Jenkins, I'm not your personal makeup artist. Why should I ask for your permission before doing anything?"

After saying that, she chuckled with contempt, and so did Jessie. "This is the exclusive dressing room for the female lead, and you were hired by the crew to do makeup for the female lead. Don't you even know your job?" Maria asked coldly.

The makeup artist's smile froze on her face.

She couldn't say anything to refute Maria, because Maria was right. Jessie, who was much more accustomed to handling such situations smoothly, smiled and said, “Maria, there's no need to get worked up over such a small matter. I was just trying to get my makeup done as soon as possible so that I won't delay the shoot later. We are all here to work, aren't we? There's no need to be selfish."

Then, she stood up from her seat and added, "Since you're so particular about your seat, let me give it back to you. Liza, come to my dressing room and fix the rest of my makeup there."

“Okay! The makeup artist named Liza agreed without hesitation.

The two women left, Leaving Maria alone in the dressing room.

Any other actress would have completely lost her temper after being talked down to this way.

But there was no trace of anger on Maria’s face. She just calmly sat down in front of the mirror and opened the makeup kit on the table.

After a long time, Jessie's makeup was finally done.

She was playing the part of a princess, which meant that she had to wear a royal costume with extravagant accessories and makeup.

Liza had spent nearly an hour on the head accessories alone.

It was only after putting the final touches on the princess costume that the two women could breathe a sigh of relief.

“Jessie, whenever you're in a scene, you'll definitely be the most beautiful woman there. Maria is no match for you!" Liza flattered.

“You are such a sweet talker. Give me your number so we can stay in touch," Jessie said with a meaningful wink.

“Thank you, Jessie!"
