Chapter: 1020
In the scene, the prince was the assassins' target. Jay, the prince, was surrounded by several assassins already.

Jessie was pulled up high into the air by the wire. On the screen, it was as though she was really flying. And all she had to do later was land with one foot while holding the sword.

“Ouch!

Jessie suddenly screamed as she fell to the ground. Immediately, the shooting stopped.

In an attempt to show off her skill, she didn't follow the script when she was on the air. Instead, she tried to do a backward somersault without telling anyone.

No one was prepared for it. Not the director, and definitely not the assassins who were fighting with her in that scene.

Sometimes, some actors liked to spontaneously add or change things during the filming just to seek more exposure. Sometimes, it worked, and other times, it didn't.

Jessie thought that the assassins would be smart enough to adapt to her new moves. But since they weren't expecting it, it didn't work out as she had expected.

When she did the backward somersault, she bumped into an assassin that was behind her.

Their wires got entangled, and they both Lost control of everything and fell hard to the ground one after the other.

“Fast! Get the doctors here!"

Francis shouted and ran to the two injured actors. Having some experience in this field himself, Francis began taking care of them while waiting for the medical team.

Jessie's ankle was sprained and the assassin's left wrist also hurt as it touched the ground first and carried her weight.

Shortly after, the medical team came running in with a medical kit. They crouched next to the injured actors and checked them.

“How are they?" Francis asked with a frown.

He knew that this was Jessie's fault. She suddenly added more moves without informing anyone. But seeing her in so much pain and seeing tears roll down her cheeks, he couldn't bring himself to scold her.

The doctor looked at Francis reluctantly and answered slowly, “Nothing's broken, but they will need to rest for at least a week."

“What? One week?" Francis shouted.

The doctor understood his anger. "No worries. It won't stall the shoot. She can do standing or sitting scenes, but she should abstain from any fighting scenes.”

Francis sighed, feeling a little relieved.

As he glanced at Jessie, the young actress quickly looked away.

She knew that she was in the wrong, and she didn't want to see the accusation in his eyes.

"Oh man! Not only did Jessie get herself injured, but because of her, a stunt double was also hurt.”

“The number of stunt doubles in the cast is very small. With one of them down, how are we going to keep shooting the other fighting scenes without delay?"
