Darren had not been making much effort and Vivian was not popular enough on her own to carry a scene.

The director felt like he had no choice but to sacrifice Maria if he wanted to ensure that the seventh episode of My College Life was received well.

The director didn't really care what this would mean for Maria.

He knew that My College Life carried a lot of prestige so he was sure that there was really nothing Maria could do to go against them.

Besides, Maria was a newcomer to the industry and in the early days of her career. There was no such thing as bad publicity for someone in her shoes!

This was how the director justified his decision.

“When we get back to Broome, we will begin working on the promotion!"

The director announced.

“Aunt Maria, get in the car."

Grover still didn't know that his arrival would later make things difficult for Maria.

Ever since he found out that Jack's ancient martial arts skills had greatly improved since Maria gave him some tips regarding his training, Grover followed her more willingly.

“Okay, let's go home," Maria said and got into the car, feeling sleepy. Then she rubbed her eyes and asked, “What is he doing?"

Grover knew that Maria was obviously talking about Anthony.

"Uncle Anthony is repairing your phone.”

Anthony was much younger than Grover. So, it was quite amusing to hear Grover refer to him as his uncle.

Grover saw her small smile, but it didn't embarrass him.

Instead, he continued talking highly of Anthony. "I was surprised that Uncle Anthony knew how to repair electronics even though he was born in a wealthy family. Could he by any chance be an electronic engineer?”

“Hold on!" Maria said with furrowed eyebrows.

She sent her hand into her pocket and took out her phone.

“But this is my phone. You should not have seen right."

“But...”

Grover glanced at Maria's phone from the corner of his eyes in confusion.

“Oh, now I get it. That means that you and Uncle Anthony use the same model."

Although he said this, he got to thinking. If they were using a couple's matching cell phones, then they could have the same model but different colors. Why were they both red?
