Chapter: 1106
Lydia was indeed asking for it when she modified the original score!
As soon as the concert was over, the shooting was almost finished.
ALL that was left to shoot, were some simple end scenes and, once these were done, the director announced that the seventh episode of My College Life was complete.
The permanent cast were to go with the production team back to Broome where the headquarters of the company were located. The guest stars had to make their own travel arrangements.
Maria's plan was to go straight home. She called up Grover and asked him to pick her up. The production team was still packing up the equipment when he arrived.
Grover stepped out of a black car. He looked very intimidating with his bald head, tattoos and muscles.
The security guards at the university were nervous when they saw him and were in two minds whether to call the police. They thought that Grover was here to cause trouble.
The production team were also a Little taken aback by his appearance. Shera asked in a low voice, "Who do you think he is to Maria? He Looks like... a bad man."
Lyman agreed.
“He can't just be a driver.”
Beuford said to the director, “Our program has always been respected. Is everything clean with Maria's background? I did not realize that she solicited with such dangerous people. I don't want our program to suffer bad publicity because of it!"
The director was a Little shocked at the possibility of this. He was an experienced man but the moment he saw Grover's ferocious features, he didn't have the courage to inquire.
The director turned instead to Vivian and asked, “Is the bald man your family's bodyguard? I don't know much about the Jenkins family in Sheffield. What kind of business do your parents run?"
Vivian knew right away what the director was concerned about.
She feigned innocence and said, “My family runs a serious business It's perfectly legal. This man... I don't really know him. Perhaps he is a friend of my sister's? Regardless, he has nothing to do with the Jenkins family."
The director began to formulate a plan.
A promotion plan was needed for the program once shooting was complete. Originally, he had thought that Darren was the perfect marketing ploy but the way it had worked out, Maria was more suitable for the role. If he threw Maria under the bus, the program would draw a lot of attention.
Maria had been difficult from the beginning. She'd asked Darren to carry her bags. She had turned out to be one of Curt Willows’ disciples. She'd caused a great coup at the School of Mathematics and Science at the Sheffield University and now she had degraded the symphony of Sheffield University!
She was certainly an explosive character!
The director couldn't let this golden opportunity pass him by.
He intended to bring all of this information into the public Light so as to shame Maria.
That would create an uproar online and therefore draw more attention to the show.
“Forget it!"
The director had made up his mind.
