“Our studio's system has been hacked, hasn't it? Do we really have the power to decide which version to broadcast at this point?"

However, no sooner had he finished speaking than the technical director burst into the room.

“Our network's security system has been successfully restored!" he declared happily.

“The hacker's access has been cut off!"

“Really? That's great, then!" The director was beside himself with the good news.

The other man nodded proudly.

“It took us some time, but my men were able to turn the situation around. Don't worry, Sir. The control of our show's broadcast is safely back in our hands. You get to decide which version to air tomorrow."

The director wasn't too sure about it, but the hacked version of the show had only been shown once. After the technical team rebuilt the firewall, everything seemed to be back to normal.

Thinking of that, the director breathed a sigh of relief.

“Just don't broadcast it on Loop today. Find another show to replace it for the time being."

Originally, their plans had been to broadcast it all day, but now that there were two versions circulating, they had to readdress their strategy. They couldn't continue airing the sabotaged version or they would become a Laughing stock.

The technical director, however, was confident when the director aired his concerns. "Sir, our technical team is the top in the entertainment circle. You really needn't worry. I can assure you that there won't be another security breach.”

The director recalled that the company did indeed allocate a lot of money to the technical department. This brought an idea to his mind.

“I have a question. Can you guarantee me that the hackers will not be able to get past the firewall again?" the director asked slowly.

The technical director said confidently, "The firewall has been reinforced. There will be no hitches this time! Sir, have you ever heard of Heaven? The technology we used to reinforce your firewall just now is Heaven technology which we got from one of our peers. It did not come cheap either, I‘11 add!"

“The Heaven technology? Wow... Did we really spend all that money?" The technical director pulled a face. "Yes, it's very expensive but absolutely worth it!"

The director was appeased.

“I trust you. In that case, we'll broadcast our version tomorrow!" Of course ‘our version’ meant the maliciously edited version.

When the assistant director and the three permanent cast members heard the director's words, they all scrunched up their faces.

The assistant director whispered, "Well... Are we sure that will be okay?"

The director glared at him. "We need to win back some respect after this embarrassment. Otherwise, how are we going to live it down?"

That convinced everyone.
