Chapter: 1122
Meanwhile, over at Broome, in the production team's headquarters, the director beamed at the screen as the show's ending credits rolled. Today's broadcast was successful.

"The trolls we hired did a good job on this one," he nodded in satisfaction.

“This part is good to air all day long.”

“I've already made the necessary arrangements, Sir. Don't worry." The assistant director had a similar contented expression.

As for the show's regular guests, they all sighed in relief after seeing that their popularity ranking had finally risen.

The director turned to the technical director and said, “You did well. After we air the last part of this episode, I will personally recommend a pay raise for you to our boss."

“Thank you, Sir! I-" The technical director was unable to finish his words.

The next thing they knew, all the screens in the control room suddenly turned black.

"What the hell happened this time?!" the director roared. Everyone had frozen in a mix of shock and trepidation.

As a matter of fact, his question was unnecessary. This incident was all too familiar and fresh in everybody's minds. The broadcast system had probably been hacked again

“It's going to be okay," the technical director assured them. "We have employed the firewall codes produced by Heaven. Not only does it defend from hackers, it has the ability to issue counterattacks as well. This loss of control should be temporary. Things will be back to normal in a few minutes."

As if to confirm his words, the screens in the control room soon flickered back to life.

And just as he had claimed, the broadcast was firmly back in the technical department's control.

The technical director jumped into action, dashing over to one of the computers and typing a long list of codes.

“Well? How is it?" the show's director asked nervously.

“Is everything in order?"

Instead of answering him, however, the technical director continued typing furiously. Cold sweat began to bead on his forehead.

In a matter of seconds, all eyes had turned to him. Everyone held their breath and waited.

Even those who knew nothing about codes and computers could tell that something was definitely not in order

At this point, the second broadcast of today's episode was already airing.

The director turned his attention to the screen with a keen sense of foreboding. As terrifying as it was, he needed to see this second broadcast.

Was it still their edited version, or that blasted original one?

“Hey! Look!"

Shera suddenly exclaimed.
