Chapter: 1192
The lawyer was overjoyed at the idea of breaking Bryce's impressive record.
He was so confident in his abilities that he thought he could even unseat Bryce as the top lawyer in town.
“Counsel for the defense, do you have anything to say?"
After glancing over the pictures, the judge asked Bryce expectantly. The presiding judge undoubtedly recognized Bryce as the most prominent lawyer in the city and the brains behind one of the country's top ten law firms.
But, the odds were far too high in favor of the plaintiff. After looking at Vivian's family photos from her childhood, the presiding judge wanted to issue a verdict almost immediately.
While sympathizing with Vivian, the presiding judge was also curious. Would Bryce use his amazing ability to reverse the situation?
“As the counsel for the defense, there's not much more I have to say. But please allow me to present a document as well. This evidence would disprove Mr. Bill Jenkins' claim of performing husbandly obligations and caring for my client for 20 years."
Bryce then gave the bailiff the materials that Maria had given him.
As he watched that material being presented to the presiding judge, Bryce could not help but sigh softly.
“This is such a simple case. Alas! I am even embarrassed to get paid.”
It did not take long for the case to reach an agreement on the division of property between the “married couple's" divorce.
Julie, the defendant, was ultimately ordered not to pay any nominal costs to Bill, the plaintiff.
Bryce proudly walked away, watched by the plaintiff's attorney with a depressed look.
“How could this be? Dad! Why did you not tell me about this before? Answer me!"
Because Bill initiated the lawsuit, Julie evicted them from the Jenkins’ villa.
Therefore, the three of them could only stay temporarily in a business hotel right now.
When Vivian returned to the hotel room, she became hysterical. She sometimes growled at Bill and gave Patricia a weird look.
Bill did nothing but smoke and kept his head down. On the other hand, Patricia turned to the side out of shame and fear of confronting Vivian.
“Aren't I your adopted daughter? How did I become your biological daughter? And she's my real mother?" Vivian roared at Bill and Patricia. "What the hell are you two doing? How..."
Vivian asked Loudly, pointing at Patricia.
She was holding a document given to her by Bryce after the verdict came into effect.
It was a paternity test report proving that Vivian was Bill's biological daughter.
And her mother was Patricia.
“Vivian, please Listen to me..." Inside the hotel room, the three fell into a deadlock, and the atmosphere was pretty tense.
