Chapter: 127
At first, he was confused. But then he was shocked at what he learned. Did Lyndsey say that Mia was acting as the chief director in Francis' place?

Mia, the famous author and his idol?

The one who originally wrote the story--Legend of Anne?

It was impossible. Because the acting chief director was Maria. Unless... Maria was actually Mia!

ALL of a sudden, it was as if the parts of the puzzle fit together to solve the mystery.

Why did Francis appoint Maria as the acting chief director in the first place?

Why would Jeremy, the CEO of Yeez Entertainment himself, supported Francis' choice?

Why would someone Like Lyndsey, a very famous and great actress, flatter Maria all the time?

More importantly, where did Maria come from? She was just supposed to be a script supervisor, but she actually had the outstanding strength and intellect to direct such a big production like the Legend of Anne?

There was only one feasible answer to all these questions. It was because Maria... was actually Mia!

Jay couldn't remember how he returned to his lounge. It was not until his phone rang that he was brought back to reality.

When he glanced at the Caller ID, he saw that it was Patricia who was calling him.

Jay frowned and answered the call.

“Hello?”

“Mr. Reed, have you considered my suggestion? If you agree, I am keen to invite you and Mr. Gerry to visit Mr. Bradley together. Actually, Mr. Gerry is with me now. He hopes you can give us a clear reply.” Patricia was not Lying.

Austin, who had declared his retirement, was now looking forward to directing the Legend of Anne.

He was in his seventies, and Looked Like an ordinary, thin, old man who had a goatee and greying hair, but his eyes were sharp, almost eagle-Like.

Patricia was polite, but direct, and didn't allow Jay any room to avoid the question.

She may not be enough to pressurize him like that, but Austin Gerry sure was.

Patricia was simply complacent in the way everything was turning out. She felt as though her plan was working and she was succeeding.
