Chapter: 1488
Cara was very curious about the identity of the mysterious girl sitting next to her.

The entrance guard of the Dome Theatre was the most strict among the others. It was impossible for any outsider to enter the venue freely, especially during the rehearsal time.

So, the mysterious girl wasn't an outsider. She was either a staff of the theater or a crew member of the concert team.

Cara first struck out the former one since all the staff of the theater were basically dressed in uniform.

Could this girl be a member of the concert crew?

Cara couldn't help but steal a glance at Maria's neck. Hmm... She had no crew badge on her.

Cara was wearing a temporary ID card on her neck that made the guard permit her to enter the venue as a crew member.

“Excuse me, madam. May I know who you're?"

Seeing that the rehearsal was about to start, Cara knew she had to keep her voice low.

But Maria gave her a gesture of silence by placing her right index finger on her lips.

Cara got the message immediately!

The band had already begun to play. Even though it was just a rehearsal, it would be a sign of great disrespect to the performers if they were chatting at that moment.

Cara, even as a student, understood the importance of giving a performing band her undivided attention.

Pushing all her thoughts aside, she immediately focused all her attention on the stage. She had forgotten and stopped wondering about the mysterious girl beside her.

Cara didn't even notice Clare, who was sitting cross-legged in the auditorium, fully engaged with her phone.

Instead, she let herself get immersed in the melody as she listened to it attentively.

As a piece of the soundtrack got to its end, Cara was so excited that tears welled up in her eyes.

She hadn't been this dedicated to music for quite a long time, and this wondrous feeling had come back to her thanks to the mysterious girl.

Cara stood up and couldn't help but applaud.

However, the next thing she heard was a taunting and arrogant voice, which filled the theater.

"How ridiculous!"

Cara was stunned for a moment and then realized it was just a rehearsal. It wasn't appropriate for her to applaud.

Turning her head in the direction of the voice, she found that Clare was the one mocking her.

Clare looked back at Cara and said in a voice that was louder and even more taunting, "Is this your way of trying to parade how diligent you are, Cara? Alas, in case you haven't noticed, no one cares!"
