Chapter: 1537
Jack ignored their discomfort and courteously led the Jenkins family's delegation.
Consequently, onlookers observed a burly man guiding visitors through the Sky Group building, an odd sight.
"Here's the office section. Over there is the leisure area. This way to the canteen. And this is..."
Barbara struggled to contain her frustration.
She had been the one to request the tour, hoping she could spend more time with Anthony.
Barbara couldn't quite fathom her motives behind this idea.
ALL she wished for now was for Jack to swiftly conclude his uninspiring explanations of other areas and lead them to Anthony's office.
Yet, the Sky Group was vast, and Jack approached the task with unwavering dedication as if he genuinely intended to cover the entire building.
"Check it out. This is the underground parking lot.”
Presently, Jack had guided the delegation down to the basement.
"Enough!" Barbara exclaimed, her voice quivering with irritation.
“Is something amiss?" After a brief pause, Jack scratched his head and inquired, "Miss Herrera, would you like to depart? Are you feeling fatigued?"
"I... I don't want to return!" Barbara snapped, her teeth clenched.
"Where is the CEO's office? Why haven't I visited it yet?"
“It's on the top floor," Jack replied, nodding and gesturing upwards.
Hearing this, Barbara had a strong urge to scold or even smack Jack.
Was Jack intentionally trying to keep her away from Anthony? This was getting on her nerves.
Why on earth did he insist on showing them the parking lot?
Yet, it was clear to her that Jack was a martial arts expert of some ancient discipline.
Barbara knew that she was no match for Jack.
“Very well, please follow me, everyone."
In his role as the tour guide, Jack led Barbara and the rest to the elevator.
The elevator ascended until it reached the building's top floor.
Jack approached a door without hesitation, prompting Barbara to alter her expression swiftly and don a poised and elegant smile.
