Chapter: 1596
She wore a thoughtful and accommodating intellectual smile, prepared to respond to any inquiries or address uncertainties as a medical expert.

Anthony did pose a question.

"Would you like me to arrange for a car or a helicopter to send you back?"

Marilyn's serene smile suddenly turned into ice.

Raymond's anger flared up further, exclaiming, “What are you talking about? We still need Dr. Rivera to care for your grandfather. Do you intend to witness his demise by sending her away now? Anthony, you're genuinely ungrateful..."

"Raymond," Anthony said calmly, avoiding confrontation with Raymond.

Anthony's aura was so authoritative that Raymond instinctively fell silent.

Anthony went on, “You've been overseeing the Wilson family's business for quite some time. How's the profitability? How much have you generated for the family?"

Raymond found this a bit off-topic, initially puzzled, but his face soon flushed with embarrassment.

He stammered, “Money... We... The Wilson family... We aren't Lacking in funds! Business involves long-term investments. The new projects I'm currently involved in are in the early investment phase, and making a profit... It doesn't happen overnight, you know.”

Despite his words, even Marilyn could tell that Raymond was wracked with guilt.

"Is that so?" Anthony snapped his fingers, and instantly, a document was handed over.

Nonchalantly perusing the document, Anthony pressed on, “Last February, you invested 8@ million in what was touted as a groundbreaking hotel. They promised an official opening within three months and profits within six. It's been over a year, and you haven't received any dividends yet?"

Raymond's mouth twitched.

“Well, you see... This hotel, perhaps the profitability period is taking longer than anticipated, but that's not uncommon, is it?"

Anthony shook his head.

“Common? I delved into your supposed innovative hotel project, and it turns out it's a fraudulent scheme.

After attracting some capital, they vanished, and as for the purported hotel under construction, all the addresses are, in fact, vacant lots."

“How can that be? I can't believe it!" Raymond's complexion pated.

But he had complete faith in Anthony's investigative prowess.

After all, it was Anthony's unwavering competence that had earned him Michael's approval long before the attack occurred, firmly establishing his position as the family's heir.

Anthony added, “Regarding the amusement park venture, the fruit chain store project, and the tea plantation, your total investment surpasses 500 million, and so far, there have been no returns."

Even Jack, upon hearing this, shook his head in disappointment.

The Wilson family boasted a rich business legacy spanning generations, with a lineage of business prodigies. Among them, Anthony stood out.
