Chapter: 160
Jenny was ecstatic at the prospect of finally meeting her idol, but her gleeful look quickly gave way to a scowl.

“The time is not yet right for me to celebrate. Master Darren often skips out on events. Only the game matters to him. I've heard that prior to his signing a deal with Yeez Entertainment, he offered a clause in which he would have the freedom to decline any activities that were not directly linked to the game.”

“He does like playing." Maria indicated her assent and seemed to take it on faith.

Since both the Yeez Team and the Legend of Anne were Yeez Entertainment productions, their collaboration amounted to a resource merger.

“The Legend of Anne will be promoted by Master Darren in the e-sports community. The popularity among viewers will rise to new heights! Jenny screamed.

"Mr. Bradley is very business savvy."

The whole crew was soon notified that they would be getting a half-day off in anticipation of Yeez Team's arrival.

Captain Darren Bennett, Vice-Captain Thomas Ward, and the newest team member Cheryl Smith were all scheduled to make a visit.

“Holy cow! Here comes the Master, Darren!"

Jenny was ecstatic when she saw the name of her idol on the list.

She enthusiastically shook Maria's arm and added, “I'll soon meet him. Is he willing to pose for a picture with me? Is asking for his autograph too much already?"

At the time, Maria thought her bones may really break. She had no idea that Jenny, despite her little stature, was so powerful.

“Don't... Please don't shake my arm. I'll see about getting a photo signed by Darren for you," Maria managed to stand still and said.

As soon as she was done speaking, she heard a scoff from nearby.

“Now, Darren really despises having to sign autographs. Almost nothing he autographs for his followers is available in stores. How do you plan to get his autograph? How well acquainted are you with Darren?"

That was Vivian.

Vivian loathed Maria even more now because of the prior time when Maria had refused to add extra scenes for her.

Vivian hissed, "You grew up in a small town near the countryside, Maria. I'm going to bet that you have no idea who Darren is."

Who exactly was Darren? He was distant and superior, preoccupied with only Wasteland.

Darren perhaps wouldn't even pay respect to the powerful people in the entertainment industry.
