Jessica was compelled to make a compromise. Before deciding what to do next, she wanted to see Maria in person to assess her condition.

“Are you absolutely sure you're going to marry her? No matter what?" With a headache, Jessica questioned Anthony while pointing toward Maria.

It seemed as though Anthony was trying to suppress a laugh. He nodded and responded genuinely while maintaining a straight face, “Yes.”
