Chapter: 264
Maria couldn't utter a word.

She was not sure whether she should greet him back or pull her hands and legs off of him first.

Apparently, Maria's arms were wrapped around Anthony's waist, while her legs were entangled with his.

Last night, Maria could conclude that she slept soundly. But she couldn't imagine that the reason behind it was that she was holding Anthony all night.

The two Looked into each other's eyes, and the scene seemed so warm and nice.

Finally, Anthony broke the silence.

“Sorry, I don't want to be rude. I really have no problem with you holding me this way, but I can't feel my legs anymore."

Whoosh! In the blink of an eye, Maria moved to the edge of the bed.

On the other hand, Anthony was very calm. In a flat and indifferent tone, he said, “Don't worry. Nothing happened between us last night. Well, except sleeping. You had a narcolepsy attack, and you fell unconscious. Although I'm injured, I did my best to put you on my bed."

It was a reasonable explanation. Of course, Anthony still had to be a gentleman.

But Maria narrowed her eyes when she heard him say that it was his bed.

As far as she was concerned, they were at Villa No. 1, and it was her residence, not Anthony's.

But then Maria realized that she was mistaken about something. The whole Hillside Spa Hotel belonged to Anthony, so naturally, everything in this place was his.

Without anything to say to refute what Anthony said, Maria got up and washed herself.

Anthony acted normally as well. He eventually sat on the wheelchair after washing himself up.

However, because of the gauze on his forehead, he looked kind of more pitiful, like a true disabled man.

Maria finally had classes this morning, so she had to go to the training room, But when she opened the door of the villa and was about to go out, she found a bunch of flowers on the windowsill.

They were all fiery red roses, symbolizing genuine romantic love. There was also a small card in the bouquet with a simple dedication.

“Miss Jenkins, I Like you so much!"

The handwriting was obviously from a man. Moreover, this method of confession was very direct and bold. However, it seemed that the suitor didn't have the guts to put his name yet.
