It was already night time. In the Hillside Spa Hotel, the surroundings were peaceful. Other than the occasional chirping of insects, it was completely silent.

Maria took three pills from the medicine bottle as prescribed by Jessica and then put it away carefully.

She turned around to find that Anthony was still lying on the sofa, as if he was in too bad a condition to get up.

It was nine o'clock at night. From the Hillside Spa Hotel, the downtown of Sheffield was more than an hour's drive away. What was more, driving along the mountain road at night could be dangerous. Maria would have to be heartless to ask Anthony to leave at this time.
