Chapter: 303
Vivian couldn't help but wonder why Jeremy would go out of his way to visit the piano room, especially since he was busy most of the time.
As far as she knew, Jeremy was a successful businessman, director, and skilled photographer. Music wasn't one of his fortes.
Surely, Jeremy didn't visit the piano room to play.
“I've been supervising Judy with her singing practice. They came uninvited and claimed the piano room all of a sudden," Maria explained.
When Vivian noticed Maria complaining to Jeremy, she was so angry that she clenched her fists at her sides.
She couldn't believe it! Maria actually told on her!
How could she throw her under the bus in front of their boss? Vivian was furious at the moment!
Vivian gave Sally a knowing look as if saying, "We have to fight back! Say something!"
Sally immediately understood and explained pitifully, “Mr. Bradley, it's not how it looks. I came here with Vivian so we could practice the piano together. You know, Vivian is one of the most talented musicians amongst all our artists here. She even received formal training in piano and vocal music in the past. This Yamaha is the best piano the company owns. I thought it would be nice for skilled people to use it first. We asked Judy about it a few minutes ago. She told us that she wasn't any good at playing the piano. If she doesn't know how to play, why does she need to use the best piano? Wouldn't it make more sense to give the piano to someone who actually knows how to play?”
Jeremy listened carefully to her words but didn't say anything. The expression on his face suddenly changed. He gave Sally a strange look. Jeremy Looked at her like she was a fool.
“Did you just say that Judy wasn't any good at playing the piano?" Jeremy asked slowly.
When Vivian heard his question, she could tell that something was wrong.
Sally was slow to react and didn't notice something was amiss right away.
She replied in an exaggerated tone. "She's terrible at playing the piano! Vivian asked her to play two songs, but she couldn't play any of them! She seems Like she doesn't have the skill, so why is she using the best piano?"
“Enough! Quiet down!"
Before Jeremy could say another word, Maria interrupted Sally impatiently.
“Just because she can't play Franz Liszt's works, does that mean she isn't allowed to use the piano?"
Maria glared at Sally, who was beginning to tremble with fear.
What was going on here?
How could Maria's eyes be so terrifying?
