Chapter: 310
Meanwhile, in the piano room on the second floor of the villa, Vivian had just finished practicing singing, and she was already a bit tired.

Seeing Julie and Maria come back home together, she was a little unhappy.

“What's wrong with mom? Why does it seem Like she's getting closer with Maria? Don't tell me that she really is treating that adopted daughter like her own already?"

Thinking of what happened back in the piano room in the company, Vivian became even angrier.

With a frustrated face, she went back to her bedroom, putting on a gorgeous evening dress that could easily cost an arm and a leg. In fact, she only wore this on important occasions.

This long dark dress was decorated with small exquisite diamonds. The perfect curve cut made Vivian's figure extremely attractive and pronounced.

She then gracefully came down from the second floor, acting Like a princess of some sort. Then, she greeted the two women who just entered the living room.

"Mom! Maria! Where have you two been?"

Vivian had a cheerful smile painted on her face.

“I've just spent some time practicing my singing and I must admit that I'm in great form! When Grandpa and Grandma put in a good word for me, I'll get the chance to sing the theme song. I will sing at my very best! My dream will manifest!" Vivian crooned, casting a victorious glance at Maria.

Maria had been living with the Jenkins family for a while now so she knew that although their father, Bill Jenkins was a well renowned businessman in Sheffield, their mother was even more influential than him. She had more clout.

To be concise, it was Julie's clan, the Smith family in Broome, that was very powerful.

Vivian wanted to brag to Maria that her mother had promised to enlist the support of the Smith's family help to give her a chance to sing the theme song.

She would be the chosen one to sing Mia's first song.

“Vivian..." Julie wanted to say something but suddenly stopped.

She had already steadfastly made up her mind not to contact her parents in this regard.

“Mom, maybe the company will be so impressed with me that they will record a special MV for me. Perhaps I can wear this gorgeous dress for the recording. What do you think?"

Vivian pirouetted in a graceful circle, her diamond-studded dress flaring out and coiling around her feet. It looked Like a scene out of a fairy tale.

“Can you please ask Dad to purchase me a few more designer dresses? I'm afraid one dress is not enough for the number of appearances I would have to make." She asked Julie but glared at Maria defiantly.

Maria did not dignify Vivian's words with a comment. She could not care less about Vivian's boastful nature and would never waste her breath arguing with a self-conceited brat.
