Chapter: 311
“Alas!”
Julie sighed helplessly, and then remarked, “Vivian, I don't think it's good for the Smith family to interfere in the internal affairs of the Yeez Entertainment."
Vivian was visibly upset to hear this comment coming from her dear mother.
“Mom? What... what do you mean?”
She couldn't believe what she had just heard. It was a serious question of her becoming an A-lister! How could her mother not see the significance of that? How could she refuse to help her?
Julie added with finality, "I won't contact your grandparents."
She didn't want to argue with Vivian, so she turned around and walked quickly to her bedroom upstairs.
Vivian froze in her spot and stared at her mother's back with Loathing eyes in disbelief until she disappeared from her sight.
Then it struck her Like a thunderbolt.
Vivian cast a murderous glance at Maria.
“It's you! You are responsible for this! You said something to Mom to change her mind, right? Didn't you?"
Maria replied calmly, "To be honest, she did seek my opinion, but I don't think I am the reason that she refused you. As an adult, she has a mind of her own."
“Shame on you! You are deliberately trying to ruin my chance for that goddamn Judy! I should be the one to sing Mia’s song! I deserve it
Vivian's sudden gush of fury and vitriol exposed her hatred for Maria. She held Maria responsible for ruining her chance of a shot at stardom by singing Mia's song.
Vivian was on the verge of obliterating Maria!
Just then, the doorbell rang.
When the maid hastened to open the door, she saw a man in a wheelchair outside. This man with a commanding presence was none other than Anthony.
Bill had already instructed the servants to treat anyone who came from the Wilson family with courtesy and respect. And this was Anthony in person.
The maid ushered Anthony and his bodyguard, Jack, into the room. Anthony was just in time to listen to the tail end of Maria's and Vivian's argument.
Vivian became even more upset when she saw Anthony.
