This made Maria feel so relieved. In fact, she might not want to leave this place anymore.

It so happened that Maria was a little busy these days. She was working nonstop in front of the computer for a long time every day.

She would eat, sleep, and work and one could always find her either in the dining room, the bedroom, or the study. For days, this had been her routine.

Maria seemed Like a total shut-in, who hadn't seen the sun for some time now.

She wouldn't Leave, and of course, Anthony wouldn't drive her away. Fortunately, Anthony was okay with Maria's conditions while she was working.

No one else was allowed to look at her computer screen, and the door of the study was always closed. Even Anthony was not allowed to come in while she was working.

It was kind of ironic since the whole villa including the study belonged to Anthony.

But of course, Anthony didn't mind. In fact, he cooperated to Maria's whims.

Knock! Knock!

A gentle knock was heard on the door.

"The meal is ready."

After the knock, Maria heard Anthony's voice outside the study.

Maria, who was very busy with her work, raised her head casually. Without opening the door, she raised her voice and asked, "What meal is it? Breakfast, lunch, or dinner?"

With a faint sigh, Anthony replied, "It's for Lunch."

Although Anthony didn't mind Maria sticking in the study for as much as she wanted, he felt that he might have spoiled her too much.

He somewhat felt a little guilty. Having irregular sleep and eating patterns were not good for her health, especially for the treatment of her narcolepsy.

“I'm coming in."

Anthony finally said, pushing the door open.

Slightly startled, Maria's fingers suddenly moved quickly.

A series of mouse clicking sounds echoed as Maria minimized all the windows on her laptop's screen, so that Anthony could not see anything.
