Chapter: 363
"I wasn't here yesterday. She stayed up all night for work purpose and I found out about it only later. Else, I would have insisted she slept."
“Okay. I see."
Then Jessica picked up the mug and, pretending to take a sip of her coffee.
“So work kept her up all night. Maria... She can be quite ambitious."
Jessica was trying to recover from the embarrassment that she had caused herself.
Maria's regular examination wasn't scheduled for the day. Jessica happened to pass by Anthony's villa and decided to pay her a visit.
For the sake of Anthony and Julie, Jessica cared a lot about Maria.
“I have some additional medical advice to tell you this time. I hope you will try to keep them in your mind."
Jessica changed the topic very tactfully.
“Narcolepsy is not very common here in Sheffield, but the relapse rate is quite high in some parts of the foreign countries. I have done an intense study on it. Narcolepsy may cause complications. You and Maria must be careful. If you don't pay attention to it, it could even cause her to die."
Upon hearing what was said, the Look on Anthony's face became more and more stern.
“Aunt Jessica, please tell me. I'll take notes.”
Anthony took out a pen and paper, ready to jot everything down.
But Jessica shook her head and said, "You don't have to make a note of it. Just remember one thing - somnambulism. That is, sleepwalking. She might frequently end up having deep sleep due to narcolepsy. It disrupts the norma sleep routine that a human being requires. So the person is likely to sleepwalk to compensate."
Anthony paused for a moment.
Sleepwalking?
From what he knew of it, it was both troublesome and dangerous.
“As for the sleepwalking... What exactly should I do?" Anthony asked, eager for an answer.
“There is more than one treatment for somnambulism, but according to Maria's condition, sleepwalking is exactly what her body needs. So if she is sleepwalking, first of all, don't try to wake her up forcefully. You must oblige to her needs."
As Jessica spoke, Anthony decided to take a note. There was no way he could remember everything.
