Chapter: 468
"With regard to the success of the new writer, Polly, is her novel not a copy of Mia's work?"

"Mia Society protest!"

"Mia Global Fan Club protest!"

“Is Song of Phoenix a plagiarism?"

Julie was greatly disturbed by these comments.

She didn't know much about online literature, nor did she know exactly how similar two works had to be for people to conclude it was plagiarism.

But at least she wasn't Like Boden and Patricia, who only read the news that praised Vivian. They only Looked at the rave reviews whilst she was a more balanced individual, who looked at the negative side too.

There were a growing number of people on the Internet who were beginning to doubt the authenticity of Vivian's novel.

Julie knew that the whole family was immersed in joy and excitement. They were in their element. If she questioned them about it now, she would seem Like the party pooper. If she poured cold water over their enthusiasm, then Vivian would be hurt.

Julie's wisdom dictated that she kept silent for now. But this caused her mental suffering. Who could she share her innermost thoughts with?

She hesitated for a while and then finally decided to open up her inner sorrow to someone. It would be good to talk to someone about her fears.

In the past two decades, Julie would confide her problems first to Bill, then to Patricia and occasionally to Vivian.

But over time, she didn't feel so comfortable with them anymore. There was now only one other person who would really Listen to her with concern.

It was Maria.

“I hope... she won't get bored or irritated with me."

Although Julie felt guilty about burdening Maria, she still sent her a message.

She just had to speak to her.

Julie's message to Maria read, "Are you terribly busy now?"

Maria soon replied, "I just got back home. What's the matter?"

“I just wanted to ask you something. Do you know the famous writer, Mia?"
