Compared to the other people of the Smith family, she indeed lived a frugal life.

While Julie was still wondering whether to offer more money or not, she heard a ding from the phone.

“Your order request has been accepted by Night."

This notification message was swiftly followed by another one.

“Your order has been transferred to M by Night."

Julie squinted down at her screen in confusion.

Obviously, Night and M were the codenames of two of Heaven's hackers. But what were they doing?

Her small order of three hundred thousand dollars was a fairly simple one to execute.

It should have been a piece of cake for any hacker. Why did Night transfer her order to someone else? Perhaps he thought the commission was not enough? Then why did he accept it in the first place?

Feeling a little unsettled by the whole thing, Julie murmured, "Forget it. I'd better not investigate this. I have been with Bill for twenty years, and our marriage has only existed in name. Even if he's having an affair, I really don't have the right to investigate him behind his back like this."

Julie tried to cancel the order, but her request was rejected.

“Sorry, your order can't be cancelled," came the message.

Julie's brows furrowed deeper.

What was going on?

She couldn't even cancel an order that she had placed?

Was the forum malfunctioning?

Julie had already carefully gone through the FAQs of the forum, and had read that a five-star client could cancel their order at any time.

In a panic, Julie looked through the FAQs again, only to find that there was another term that she inadvertently ignored.

“However, clients can't cancel an order if it has been accepted by a top hacker of Heaven."

Julie's brain was buzzing.
