Chapter: 709
So to get a taste of such delicacy, all one actually needed was a knife.
“I'm back!"
Maria announced without even sparing a glance at the two men who were ogling her.
She put the fish down on a clean spot and began to dissect it.
Of course, the "knife" she used was her high-level outdoor multi-functional shovel produced by the Wilson Group.
Maria dissected the fish, removed the organs and the bones from the tuna.
She was working so skilfully and meticulously as though she was a renowned chef. She did it as though it was something she did everyday.
After a while, she neatly placed the slices of fish fillet beside the whole spine of the tuna she had just removed.
The two men she had been partnered with were staring at her in disbelief.
“A pound of fish for a cooking pot. Who wants to trade?" Maria suddenly Looked at them and asked. She hadn't brought any kitchenware with her.
That was actually why everyone had mocked her at the beginning. They could have never imagined that she would do a business trade during the adventure.
It was only the second day of the show and she had already caught a bluefin tuna. Who knew how lucky she was going to be until the end?
Both Boone and Emilio had kitchenware, but they each only had one pot. If they gave her the pot for tuna fish, it would be impossible for them to cook food later on.
They had been expecting to mock Maria while she grovelled and begged for help from them. They had never expected this to be the scenario.
How were they supposed to choose between their only pot and the rare delicious tuna?
If they thought it through though, a pound of bluefin tuna was enough for one meal only.
What would happen the next time they got hungry?
What was worse was what would happen if Vivian found out about their Little trade?
She would definitely deduct the reward she had promised them.
“Miss Jenkins, although the tuna fish that you're offering is very expensive, the things that can be used repeatedly in our survival program are also very valuable..."
Boone behaved like a scholar that he was and spoke politely. But the truth was he was also very conflicted. There was a part of him that wanted to give in.
After all, yesterday's earthworm soup and today's fish soup didn't taste any good.
As a university professor, he only had tasted this kind of precious seafood in some Large-scale activities that happened very occasionally.
“I'll give two pounds," Maria said with a straight face.
