Chapter: 780
She had been so focused on horse-riding lately that she had delayed the continuation of Song of Phoenix.
In reality she couldn't write much at all.
After all, she only found a few pages of the original script of Female
Military Counsellor while she was in the Smith family.
She couldn't write any better than the original, so all she could do was update it occasionally.
But even this, her touched up version of the original, still got fans of Song of Phoenix excited.
“Is Maria going to make her debut? Why exactly did she go to another reality show again? Go and get my father and Aunt Patricia. Now!" Vivian ordered her assistant, pointing her finger assertively at her.
She was no famous star, but she was the author and heroine of Song of Phoenix. Her identity hadn‘t been announced yet, but she still felt entitled to everyone's respect. And several assistants.
Her current assistant had just graduated from university and was two years older than Vivian.
However, she knew who was in charge. She had no choice but to follow her commands. She timidly nodded and hurried away to call Patricia and Bill.
After some time, they appeared in front of Vivian.
"Go away. I'LL call you in later."
Vivian waved her hand and dismissed her assistant out of the Lounge. She didn't dare answer back to her.
"Honey, what's wrong?"
While Julie was away in Broome taking care of her father, Patricia practically acted as the woman of the Jenkins family.
Since she and Bill were together every day, all the new Hughes Group employees just assumed they were husband and wife.
Now, whether or not anyone else was around, Patricia would address
Vivian affectionately.
“Mom...
And as long as Julie wasn't around, Vivian returned the affection. Vivian still called her "Aunt Patricia" most of the time. However, one time she had a slip of tongue and accidentally called her "Mom". Since people now all assumed Bill and Patricia was a couple, she then didn't bother changing the way she addressed Patricia.
“Who made my sweetheart upset?" Just tell us. Your mom and I will help you!" Bill smiled Lovingly.
Vivian contemplated her situation and felt a little conflicted. She did feel sorry for Julie who was so far away in Broome.
No. She shook her head.
Julie was not her biological mother anymore.
