Chapter: 781
Vivian reminded herself that she was adopted, just like Maria.

Julie was not her biological mother, nor did she treat her as such. The more she thought about how Julie treated Maria, Vivian became more and more certain of her feelings.

How could Julie treat them the same way? Vivian had Lived with her for 20 years, and Maria had been adopted just six months ago. Vivian no longer felt guilty.

She held Patricia's hand and said in a worried tone, “Mom, I just saw Maria on a reality show again. On Taste of Childhood, sponsored by the Bowles Group. Is she going to make her debut and become famous?”

Really, whether Maria became famous or not didn't concern Vivian.

But she just couldn't stand it!

They were both adopted by the Jenkins family, so how could Maria be so much more popular than her?

Patricia looked surprised by this at first, and then grinned. "Honey, I understand.”

“I didn't hear anything." Bill laughed.

Patricia rolled her eyes at Bill.

“Maria's biggest mistake was entering the entertainment business. If she had just married into the Wilson family, and stayed out of Vivian's way, I actually wouldn't do anything to her. But it seems her heart is set on being in entertainment. She's in for some trouble..."

"Mom! What are you going to do?" Vivian grew visibly excited.

Patricia smiled. "The entertainment circle is somewhere people are bound to get into trouble,“ she said mischievously.

“Since she's entered it, there are some things that even the Wilson family can't protect her from. For example, if there was dirt on Maria and we posted it online, what would all the fans, audience members and netizens do?"

Vivian beamed. "Even if they each just sent her just a single scolding message, her career as an artist would be destroyed!" she exclaimed. Vivian's excitement had blossomed into joy.

“And then," she continued, "Even Anthony couldn't do anything about it. Unless Maria left the entertainment circle for good, she would be laughed at in public for the rest of her life!"

Vivian suddenly realized that she shouldn't have been jealous when Maria won the Island Survival competition.

She was wrong!

Maria should be very popular!

Only this way could Maria be scolded severely when Vivian posted her dirt on the Internet!

“Mom, can we get some dirt on Maria?" she asked Patricia.

The only thing worrying Vivian was the possibility that there might not be any dirt for them to find.

Of course, she didn't believe that Maria was morally superior.

But when she thought about Maria Living in a backwards village for nearly 2@ years, she was afraid that it would be difficult to find out whether there even was any dirt on her.
