Chapter: 795
“I agree with the production team and producers. Artists should be more careful with what they say and do!"
Maria wasn't a real star. Having been in only two shows, Taste of Childhood and Island Survival, both her fans and her fame were limited.
Most people seeing the news that Maria had been removed from the show would most Likely agree with their decision and mock Maria.
“People really think Maria lied about being a good student? But... I really like her. I don't think she would do something Like that."
“I first came across Maria on Island Survival. I don't think she would Lie to the audience."
“As of yet, her school hasn't released an official response to the news, and the photos going viral haven't been confirmed to be authentic. I like Maria. I admit I'm a fan, but I do honestly believe she isn't the type to do this."
There were some people out there showing their support for Maria, but they were few and far between, and their messages were drowned by the avalanche of scathing comments.
Meanwhile, in the Taste of Childhood production team.
"Mr. Brooks, why have you been Looking so sad? I just had a Look at the background data. The audience is huge! When Maria was on the show, the highest viewer count we ever had was 5 million. Now it's 7."
During their break time, Jacqueline would adopt the role of producer, and treat Leif as her subordinate.
Leif shook his head, smiling bitterly. He couldn't deny the numbers. He assumed that most of the new audience members were attracted by the news of Maria quitting. But Jacqueline hadn't looked at the comments and didn't know how much the audience was criticizing the production team. The quality and reputation of this program would deteriorate. Alas!
Ever since Maria left, Jacqueline wanted to have the lead role in the show.
She wanted to be the most popular guest on the show, just like Maria had been.
She had even given Leif a secret order to focus the cameras on her while they were filming. The other three guests had lost interest in the program too because of Maria's absence, so Jacqueline really did have the central role.
However, she was not a professional artist, nor did she have as many wonderful and entertaining characters as Maria.
As long as the program was focused on her, it became more and more dull.
Nearly the whole audience was complaining. "It's so boring! The reason they got rid of Maria was to create discussions and attract more viewers, right?"
“I don‘t understand. There are three famous stars on the show. Matthew, Jenifer and Dominic. Why are they focusing so much on Jacqueline? That woman was just so boring!”
“Have you noticed that the other three guests were somewhat disinterested, as if they are being forced to work overtime?"
"Yes, Jacqueline is the only one that seemed genuinely happy. Don't you think a more fitting name for the show would be Let's All Look At Jacqueline?"
Leif scrolled through the comments and became more upset the more he read.
He tried his best to ignore the Live comments coming through and focus his attention on the other data.
“What ?"
Leif noticed that the number of viewers had suddenly decreased.
