Chapter: 803
The official Twitter account of the production team had already deleted the announcement of removing Maria from the show.
However, under their other unrelated Twitter posts, there was an influx of hundreds of thousands of mocking and abusive comments.
But soon, the public noted that unlike the Bowles Group, the production team did not delete any of their posts, nor did they turn their comments off.
No matter how many abusive comments were left or how ugly and harsh the words were, the production team seemed to have decided to bear them silently.
When the public had cooled down, they began analyzing the situation among themselves.
“The official Twitter account of Taste of Childhood is probably controlled by both the production team and the Bowles Group. Without the permission of the Bowles Group, the production team may not be able to make an apology on this Twitter account even if they wanted to."
“So even Mr. Brooks has no right to say something here?"
“Isn't it strange that the production team hasn't reacted at all to all these harsh comments? It Looks like they are silently accepting their mistake. They are better than the Bowles Group at least!"
“Guys, go and take a look at the Twitter account of Mr. Brooks's studio! He's made an announcement."
In the midst of all this silence, any sort of announcement was a welcome change.
The Bowles Group might be able to control the official Twitter account of Taste of Childhood, but they had no right to stop Leif from posting what he wanted on his studio's account.
The official Twitter account of Leif's studio had reposted the interview video of the TV station with the caption, "We knew we made a huge mistake, and for that we want to make a formal apology. We're sorry, Maria!"
Judging by this post, the public confirmed that their theory was right- the stance of the production team of the show was obviously different from the stance of the Bowles Group.
Surprisingly, this Twitter post was liked by Matthew, Jenifer, and Dominic. At the same time, the three of them all posted things like, "I miss you and hope to work with you again."
“Whoa, I'm touched. Mr. Brooks and the three celebrity guests are good people at least. The Bowles Group is so disgusting!"
“Actually, after Maria left, the three celebrity guests seemed so dull on the show. No matter how famous they are, they are bound to their contracts, so I guess that was their way of silently protesting against the Bowles Group.”
“Okay, I have newfound respect for the celebrity guests, but I'LL never forgive the Bowles Group!"
“There's a new post on the Bowles Group's Twitter account. Go and check it, guys!"
Sure enough, there was finally an update from the Bowles Group on their official Twitter account.
“Due to of technical issues, Taste of Childhood will be coming to an end. There will be no new episodes from now on. Thank you for your care and support."
What was more, the comments had been turned off for this post too!
The woman at the eye of the storm, Maria, turned a blind eye to what was happening in the outside world.
It was not that she didn’t want to stay updated on what was going on, but that she couldn't.
That was because ever since she quit the show, she had been forced by Anthony to do nothing but stay home and catch up on sleep.
