Chapter: 842
He pulled out several official-Looking documents, Looking every bit the role of the president of the Writers' Association.
“Maria, this is the application form for a five-star writer. You should also fill it out."
Maria took the form. It looked just like the one she'd seen recently online.
The only difference was that each form was marked with a specific number given by the Writers’ Association.
The number was unique to each member, corresponding to their data file in the system.
There was no way to forge or replicate the number.
"Bye." After finishing the form, Maria expected that Anthony would still be waiting for her outside in the parking Lot, so she was ready to go.
After bidding Curt and Greta farewell, she left the Writers’ Association building and walked to the parking lot.
At that very moment, by coincidence, Kash was leading Vivian to the side entrance of the Writers’ Association building.
This was the first time that Kash had brought his student to the Writers' Association to submit an application. He'd even invited several other members from the administration to have Lunch with them.
In actuality, Vivian was the one who would be paying for the meal, but she was more than willing to oblige.
The meal cost her a fortune, but that was well worth it for the opportunity to get close with a three-star writer and a two-star writer trom the Sheffield Writers’ Association.
“Vivian, once you're an official member of the Sheffield Writers’ Association, you can always ask them for help if you're ever in trouble."
Kash found the meal very satisfying. But as he happily chattered away, he noticed that Vivian had begun to slow down.
Soon Vivian had stopped completely, rooted to the spot.
In the distance, she saw Maria. Even though she only saw her from a side angle, she recognized her instantly.
“Maria!”
She couldn't help but shout to her. Sure enough, Maria stopped and returned her glance.
Maria was only now about 100 meters away from the parking lot. Seeing that Vivian was the one calling her, she couldn't help but frown to herself.
Vivian strode over to Maria, but the others didn't follow her.
They all enjoyed positions of power in the Writers’ Association. They had no intention of intruding on other peoples' affairs when they noticed a strange look in Vivian's eyes and that she'd been calling to a beautiful woman her same age.
Kash was the only one who recognized Maria. He'd seen her in both of the popular reality shows she'd appeared in recently. She had reached a surprising high bar of Internet fame and had even gotten more popular than Vivian.
“Maria... Hey! Why are you at the Writers’ Association?" As Vivian spoke, she moved her gaze up and down Maria's body, as if examining her.
Whereas Vivian was grasping tightly to her application forms, she noticed that Maria had nothing in her hands. She always clocked minor details.
