Chapter: 843
“What? Can't I be here?" Maria asked.
"Of course you can."
Vivian didn't own the place. She had no say in the matter.
Vivian asked tentatively, “Are you planning on applying to join the Writers' Association?"
“No," Maria said, a surprisingly indifferent tone in her voice.
She was telling the truth. Her master had brought her here to sign books today, nothing more.
Vivian considered her answer and then asked, “Then... Are you coming here to find someone to be your teacher?"
Maria shook her head. "No."
No?
Vivian couldn't believe it!
Either she wanted to be someone's apprentice, or she wanted to join the Writers’ Association.
Vivian couldn't think of any other reason in a million years that Maria could be here if not for one of those options.
She was positive that Maria must be Lying to her. She also noticed that the woman looked a bit tired.
Had she encountered some problems?
Had they rejected her?
Just the idea of this brightened Vivian's mood.
She hadn't only successfully nabbed the role of Kash's student but had also gotten the number of two other star-rated writers from the Sheffield Writers' Association.
Vivian was positive that she was perfectly positioned for the Writers‘ Association to involve her soon.
Maria could never accomplish that! “I just didn't expect to see you here. As it so happens, I'm here today to submit materials for my application."
While speaking, Vivian took out the application materials and forms to show them to Maria.
“Look. This one is my application form. All I have to do is pass the inspection, and I'll be a one-star member of the Sheffield Writers’ Association in no time."
Maria blankly glanced at the application form, giving away nothing.
There was nothing really for her to react to. After all, it was only an application to be a one-star member.
"Oh, I see," Maria replied calmly.
