Maria could keep pretending all she wanted, but she must have been wracked with jealousy. Vivian thought to herself.

She continued, “If that's all, I should be going. It's a busy day, and I need to submit this form as soon as possible. According to the rules, the president himself handles the final inspection for all potential members."

Vivian smiled again.

“Do you hear what I said?

The materials I'm submitting are going to be read over by Curt Willows, the legendary master, himself!"

Curt was in charge of the final inspection?

Maria hadn't realized this, but she remained calm as she processed that fact. Only one thought ran through her mind: Poor Curt must have been very tired from all that work.

Maria didn't take Vivian seriously, however. She could tell Vivian was just showing off for attention.

However, Vivian was only going to be a one-star member. That was hardly worth mentioning.

"If that's all, I'll be on my way.”

With that, Maria turned around and left.

Vivian didn't believe for a second that Maria was as calm as she'd let on.

That gave Vivian an idea. She asked Kash and his friends to wait for her for a moment. Then she stealthily followed Maria to try to gauge where she was headed.

Vivian was then shocked.

Who was that man with Maria?!

Vivian didn't dare get any closer but in the distance, she saw a tall, dashing man in a cap and a mask approaching.

Although she couldn't see his face, just his build and bearing, Vivian could imagine his looks in her mind's eye. He must be incredibly handsome!

That was when she realized that he was about to get into the car with Maria.

Before they could leave, she pulled out her cell phone and snapped a few shots of them.

It took a few tries, but Vivian managed to get one clear picture, in which the side of Maria's face was angled towards the camera. It was a very recognizable face.

All the photo made out of the man was his back. His face wasn't captured.

“Great!”

Not having the man's face in the shot was of no consequence. Everyone knew that Maria was engaged to Anthony, and this mysterious man who she was meeting in private certainly wasn't him!

Once she Leaked the photos, Maria would get into big trouble!
