Chapter: 870
Her pretence paid off as Kash Laughed, satisfied with her reaction. Then he explained, "In case you're wondering, Star search has always done things in the same way. That is, only the star-rated members of the Writers’ Association can get the qualifications to participate in Star Search.
Mr. Willows still has to go through the final evaluation of your application. But it'll be done soon and you have nothing to worry about. When Mr. Willows sees my signature and that of the other judges, he won't hesitate to pass your application. In fact, we can just say you are already a one-star member of the Writers’ Association in Sheffield."
With a smile, Kash went on to introduce the event Star Search in detail.
Vivian was honestly shocked after finding out that Star Search was the top assessment activity for new writers in the country. She was even more excited to hear that many four-star and above seniors would be present. Not just that, but some of the top managers of the Writers’ Association of Broome and Sheffield would be there.
“If I understand you correctly... Does that mean I'm going to meet Mr. Willows?" Vivian asked in disbelief.
Kash nodded and smiled at her.
“He might come, but it's also possible that he won't. If he doesn't, the National Writers" Association will send another senior in his place. The Writers' Association of Sheffield will also send a five-star writer to replace Mr. Willows."
Vivian blushed in excitement. She couldn't wait. The Internet had been talking a lot about her recently, and all the articles were related to the Writers' Association.
If she could only get a single praise from one of the seniors or better still from a five-star writer at the activity site of Star Search, it would boost her popularity.
This activity was coming at the best time ever.
The publicity of the movie "Song Of Phoenix" was just about to start. She could use this opportunity to pull more attention to the movie and make it an even greater hit.
“Thank you very much..." Vivian murmured as tears welled up in her eyes. It was so easy for her to cry on command.
The unsuspecting Kash smiled smugly and said half jokingly, "Your post on Twitter about being my apprentice got me more than one hundred thousand fans in no time. I realized that I will need you a lot as time passes."
Vivian chuckled good-naturedly and said, “Oh, come on, don't say that. I should be the one thanking you for all the help you keep giving me." Three days later, at the activity site of Star Search.
It was two hours before the event officially began.
The staff and volunteers were busy getting everything ready.
These volunteers were all students from some local universities in Sheffield.
Some of them dreamed of one day joining this association while others only came because their teachers were members of the Writers’ Association, and they wanted to enrich their experience as volunteers.
While cleaning, some volunteers saw a girl in a cap and plain clothes sleeping in a corner a few meters away from them.
“Hey, you can't sleep here!" A tall man looking like a Leader walked to the sleeping girl and woke her up.
Maria opened her eyes slowly and rubbed them.
“What time is it? Is it dawn already?"
The young man who just woke Maria up was Enzo Natt. He was the president of the student union of the Literary department of Sheffield University.
Maria's questions shook him a Little, but the gentle and cultivated man in him asked her gently, “Who brought you here? If your teacher sees you sleeping here instead of trying to get things ready, they will not be pleased with you."
