Chapter: 875
After a few rings, he picked up.
“Hello, it's me," Maria said in a Low voice.
Her tone only made Enzo and the others to be more confident of one of their theories. She was definitely not like them who were only backed by one-star writers. And she was now calling her teacher for support. They felt a little worried though, after hearing the way she spoke. Was it possible that her teacher's star rating was not very high and this was all for nothing?
If that was the case, then she'd better drop the act and be more respectful.
"What can I do for you, Maria?”
Curt was very happy that Maria had agreed to be his student. He was even happier now that she was calling him. He would gladly do anything for her.
"Mr. Willows, I heard that star-rated writers of the Writers’ Association can show students around the Star Search event venue. Apparently they say, the higher the writer rates, the more power he has. How many people can you bring with you?"
"Well..."
Curt was a little confused by Maria's question.
As the president of the Sheffield Writers' Association, he was very powerful.
In all his years, he had never had to wonder how many people a star-rated writer could bring along to the event they held. It had never really been an issue to be concerned with.
Not really knowing what to say, he sighed and said, "Well... I don't think there should be a Limit to the number of people I can take there. It actually all depends on the site. If the place is big enough, then I can bring as many as I wish."
“Okay, I understand."
Maria nodded satisfactorily and then continued, “I have some volunteers here, and I'd be grateful if you inform the staff to let them in."
“Sure. Give me their names." Maria gave him the names, and he wrote them down.
“Okay, Maria. I've asked your fellow senior apprentice to bring your five-star writer badge. He'll take care of these volunteers when he comes."
“Thank you, Mr. Willows,”
Maria said with a smile and then hung up.
She looked at Enzo and the other volunteers and said, "My teacher has taken care of everything. You can all stay and watch."
“Really? Please, tell me you're not joking right now!"
Enzo tried his best to act calm, but it was difficult given how excited he was.
Too excited to say anything, Dora's face turned red as she stared at Maria with tears in her eyes.
“What? Very funny... Ha ha ha..."
The man that was chasing them away burst into Laughter after watching the scene before him.
