Chapter: 90
“This connection between Maria and Anthony is nothing but true Love." The other three men present had once again reached an agreement as if they could read each other's mind.
“Shall we go over there and have a word?" Maria asked when she caught sight of the excitement in Francis' eyes.
After that, she stood up and both of them walked towards a quiet corner.
Maria didn't seem surprised. After all, why else would Francis come to her if not for the script of the Legend of Anne?
“Hey! Hold on a second!"
It seemed that Walt had suddenly realized something. He pointed at Maria's back as she walked away.
“Is it me or did Mr. Jackson really just call Miss Jenkins 'Mia'? Did the rest of you hear the same thing I heard?"
Walt was a fan of films and television dramas. He would never miss an interesting episode or novel.
There was a bookshelf in his study specially arranged for the collection of Mia's works. These included books, DVDs of films, derivative music works and TV series among others
At the same time, something came to Stephen's mind as well. This made his countenance change.
“You've got to be joking right now! Is she really Mia? That means she is my father, mother, and pretty much every one of my relatives’ idol!"
Mia's works appealed to a wide range of audiences. It didn't matter if it was in the hands of a man or woman. Both the old and young could relate to it.
Allen's face flushed with excitement.
He was a big fan of hers. But not once did it cross his mind that his idol would be his best friend's fiancee.
In the face of the questioning eyes of the crowd, Anthony remained calm.
Of course he knew who Mia was. What he didn't know was that she was the same person as Maria.
Anthony was surprised. But he maintained his calm disposition as if he had known it all along. He said casually, “Writing is just her side line."
This was something he was absolutely sure about. When the others saw how calm Anthony was, they admired Maria even more. They thought that the story between Maria and Anthony was very similar to that of Cinderella and the prince. Be that as it may, none of them ever imagined that she was a big shot as well.
This shocked them and made them admire Maria a lot. Meanwhile, at the quiet corner of the banquet hall, Francis made a proposal.
"Mia, oh no, Miss Jenkins... Please, join the crew of the Legend of Anne!"
