Chapter: 901
“I have to defend myself! Don't you see that Mr. Gomez is being unfair?"
Vivian didn't see the need of pretending to be polite to Kash anymore. She had no use for him anymore since he clearly couldn't help her out of this situation.
If she could offend Felix, what more of him?
She still had to clear her name. So she ignored Kash and started shouting, “Are you really Mia's translator, Mr. Gomez? You know, my novel has been discussed on the Internet for a long time, and it has been established that the plot of my novel is indeed similar to that of Mia's, but the plot of Song of Phoenix developed faster than that of Female Military Counsellor. That much was made clear.
How then can you reduce my hard work to nothing?
Are you doing this for a particular reason, Mr. Gomez? Are you by any chance partial to Maria? Just tell us, are you?"
Vivian felt even more humiliated when she saw the crowd move away from her.
They were following Felix who had walked away from her. He had no desire to argue with the irrational Vivian.
He was now at the next exhibition booth to read the work of another one-star writer.
Quarrelling in a loud voice and with this child wouldn't help the situation in any way. Besides, it wasn't worth it.
Felix always avoided all sorts of altercations with people. He chose to stay out of this one even more since it concerned Vivian, Maria's opponent.
Why would he get involved in it when Maria was going to handle it in her own way?
The only thing he could do was push her to update Female Military Counsellor as soon as possible and stop worrying about her work being plagiarized.
Felix was even more curious to read her next chapters. The story was getting more and more fascinating. How was she going to follow-up with the story?
He had already forgotten about the Little incident with Vivian moments ago as though it was just a little dust on his shoes.
Felix kept everything else out of his mind and continued assessing and commenting on different works. After a long time had passed, Felix stopped and checked the time.
It was already so Late. Where was Maria?
He raised his head and Looked around, but she still wasn't there. Maybe she was still asleep.
Exhausted, Felix sighed and said to the hearing of everyone, “I've gone through half of the works already and done as much as I can. I'm not the only main judge, so another will continue. I have to be in Broome as soon as possible to handle some things.”
Everyone was naturally surprised to hear this. They all murmured to themselves, but one person got the courage to ask loudly, “Mr. Gomez, who will comment on and evaluate the rest of the works if you leave?"
“Just exercise a Little bit of patience. She is late, but she will show up," Felix said to the man with a hint of resentment that confused the crowd.
They didn't know that Felix was actually thinking about the book she was wasting so much time on and still did not update. He felt like an impatient reader.
He sighed and then said to Merlin, "Merlin, I'll leave now. Be sure to tell Maria that I was here, okay?"
“I will. Take care, Mr. Gomez."
