Chapter: 938
Who cared about minor mistakes when no one else could even come close to her overall performance?

“Good! Very good!" Sarah sneered.

She had initially planned to leave after her audition and go home to wait for the good news.

Well, now, she wasn't leaving anymore!

Sarah was going to stay and watch the whole damn affair. She wanted to see just how good Maria was and why she sounded so arrogant.

"I'LL stay and wait for your turn, then. I sincerely hope that your rendition of ‘Ambush on All Sides' will not disappoint me!"

With that, Sarah stomped off to the audience and found herself a seat. She proceeded to stew and glare at the other participants.

The others had been feeling immense pressure as it was. Now that Sarah was staying after such an explosive performance, they felt even more hopeless.

Sure enough, the next few aspirants weren't even able to finish the entire piece, let alone compare to Sarah's performance.

The most that they could do was play a dozen bars. Other than that, they also made a lot of mistakes, which likely had to do with the oppressive tension that Lingered in the room.

“Enough. Next!”

After listening to “Ambush on ALL Sides" getting murdered repeatedly by these amateurs, Francis was at the end of his tether.

He interrupted the performance of the last participant and called the next one in.

“Look at that. After an audition Like Sarah's, everyone else is on the edge," Claire whispered to Maria.

It was Claire's turn now, and her fingers were trembling before walked on the stage. The fact that her ankle was still throbbing with pain didn't help at all.

As expected, she made multiple mistakes throughout the piece. Nevertheless, she remained in high spirits. She turned to the judges with a sheepish smile. "I'm sorry. I'm afraid this is not my forte."

Claire scrunched up her face and shook her head, no longer caring about the audition results. It was time for her to relax.

“Hmm

Francis looked her up and down before saying, "Simple and honest... You don't look Like the heroine at all, but you certainly fits Princess Cheyenne's personality."

Greta and the others seemed taken aback at first, but the more they thought about it, the more they agreed with Francis' remark. They all bobbed their heads in earnest.

Princess Cheyenne grew up with a sliver spoon. Not only was she of noble blood, but she was the daughter of the queen herself. She was the Princess Royal.

Princess Cheyenne was a key supporting character in the book, having been the one to discover that the heroine dressed up as a man at the beginning of the story.

At that point, the emperor had almost-unwittingly-finalized an engagement between the heroine and Princess Cheyenne.

But the princess had a kind and innocent nature, coupled with a lively and zealous personality.
