Chapter: 1925
"Alright, I'll inform her," Sabrina said.
Tyrone added, "Those houses are quite nice. I've reserved one for myself. If it appeals to you, we could consider it for our future."
Sabrina responded with a raised eyebrow, “We'll see."
Bettie was thrilled to share the good news with Lance. She enjoyed her meal with enthusiasm and speed.
Afterward, Bettie and Lance headed to the River Mansion's sales office, where they were escorted to a lounge, attended by the staff.
Once the sales agent collected their details, she went off to draft the contract.
With the agent gone, Bettie leaned toward Lance and whispered, “Hey. Why did you mention paying the full amount earlier? I don't have that much cash available right now. What if it falls short?"
"Don't worry, I have enough money. You won't need to spend yours,"
Lance reassured Bettie.
"You have that much money?" Bettie's eyes widened with surprise.
Back in high school days, Lance faced financial challenges, relying on aid to cover tuition. Fast-forward seven years, without factoring in discounts and Royce's support, Lance had amassed over eighty million, allowing him to afford such a pricey villa. Could being a venture capitalist rake in that much dough?
“Barely. After buying the house, I'll have to tighten my belt." Lance smiled.
"Don't worry. I can support you then," Bettie said generously.
After a brief pause, the sales agent returned with a smile as she presented the house purchase contract. "Mr. Carter, Miss Ramirez, here is the purchase contract. Please sign it."
After completing his signature on the contract, Lance extended the pen to Bettie, saying, "Now you sign."
Bewildered, Bettie held the pen in disbelief, her gaze alternating between the pen and Lance. Pointing at herself, she asked, "Me?"
Lance nodded. "Yes. Your name will also be on the property deed."
The sales agent, observing nearby, couldn't hide a tinge of envy at Bettie's unexpected inclusion. Lance was not only handsome and wealthy but also incredibly generous. Such a catch.
Bettie gaped in surprise. "But... I can't accept this..."
Lance smiled. "It's a gift for you. Just sign it," he insisted.
