Chapter: 1926
“Well, alright then. If you insist." With a mix of disbelief and joy, Bettie managed to suppress a grin as she signed her name. Her heart was bubbled with joy.

Internally, Bettie was a whirlwind of excitement, her heart leaping with joy and her mind erupting in silent, ecstatic laughter. However, outwardly, she remained as cool as a cucumber. Bettie placed the pen down with a steady hand, smoothed her hair, and looked at Lance.

"It's signed. You can't back out now."

"I won't." Lance chuckled, amused by Bettie's struggle to keep a straight face.

The sales agent approached with a POS machine in hand.

With a flourish, Lance extracted a black card from his wallet and passed it to the agent, saying, "No password required."

The agent swiped the card, and the machine spat out a receipt, which Lance signed with a confident stroke, finalizing the transaction.

"Perfect." The sales agent gathered all the documents and placed them into a folder. "Villa 007 of the River Mansion now belongs to you two. Here are the villa keys and access cards. Please keep them safe. Since the entrance of the villa complex is equipped with face-recognition control, you'll need to swing by the property management office later to register your faces. Additionally, Miss Ramirez, I'll need a copy of your ID to process the property deed. Do you have the necessary documents on hand?"

"Yes." Bettie retrieved her purse from her bag and handed the relevant document to the sales agent. Curious, she asked, "When can we expect the property deed to be ready?"

"It will be in about two weeks. Once it's processed, I'll contact both of you."

After making a copy, the sales agent returned the document to Bettie.

"That's it. You can both go and see your new home now."

"Great, thank you."

"I'm so thrilled!" Bettie exclaimed, barely able to contain herself.

Exiting the sales office, Bettie clasped her hands together, her eyes sparkling excitedly. Her broad smile lit up her face as she spun around with delight, savoring the moment.

Although she didn't know whether Lance would attempt to contest property ownership over this villa through legal channels in the future, Bettie's current joy was palpable. The thought of having this valuable villa under her name brought her immense happiness, at least for now.

Lance offered a gentle smile, adjusting his glasses as he approached.

“Shall we go see our new home now?"

"Absolutely." Bettie smiled, her pearly whites shining as she playfully nudged Lance with her elbow. Her eyes twinkled with amusement as she tilted her head. "Lance, what's the sudden decision to put the property in my name?"

"Well... I thought it might help convince your parents to agree to our marriage next month," Lance explained.
