Chapter: 1942
Before leaving, Bettie gave Sabrina a wave, saying, “Sabrina, I'll see you later."
“Okay, see you."
Sabrina glanced at the clock and hurried off to the studio.
The studio was located next to a photography base and had collaborated with it.
Upon Sabrina's arrival, her assistant handed her a folder, saying, “Ms. Chavez, I've talked to the client who called for an appointment yesterday. We've got the contract ready. Please, take a look."
Sabrina went through the contract details.
"The client has brought four outfits. The shoot will be done in two days. We're starting with thirty edited photos. Any extras will cost five hundred each. They're getting someone else for the framing..." the assistant briefed her.
"Did they say when they need the edited photos by?"
“The client would like to discuss the deadline and their preferred style with you face to face. They're waiting in the reception area now."
“Got it." Sabrina returned the folder. “I'll go meet them."
She made her way to the reception room.
Sabrina knocked twice and then opened the door. She stopped short at the empty room.
For a moment, Sabrina was confused. Then, everything suddenly went black.
A hand covered her eyes from behind, and a low voice teased, "Guess who I am?"
Sabrina was taken aback at first, but the sound of the voice quickly helped her recognize who it was. She relaxed and said, “Listen to your voice..."
"Hmm?"
“It makes me think you're chubby."
Bettie clenched her jaw. How could her voice suggest she was chubby?
Sabrina went on, "The only person I know who's like that is..."
“yiho?"
