Chapter: 1951
“Auntie, hurry back. I need to talk to you," Sierra said seriously.

Rita paused and asked gently, “What's going on? Look, Sierra, I might have to stay away a bit longer due to some issues here. Is that okay?"

“Auntie, this is big. It's about my parents’ accident. If they hadn't taken your car that day, they wouldn't have been in that crash. Don't you want to know what really happened?"

Shocked, Rita asked urgently, "What did you find out?"

Despite it seeming like a normal accident, Rita always felt there was more to it. Back then, she was in a bind and plenty didn't want her to marry Horace. It could've been anyone's doing, so they brushed it off as an accident.

"It's too much to explain on the phone. Auntie, come back and I'll spill. What's more important than this?"

After thinking it over, Rita decided. “Okay, I'm heading back."

Ending the call, Rita said to her assistant, "Let's go back to Violetholt."

“Sure thing."

“Auntie, you're finally here." Sierra's eyes Lit up.

Rita held Sierra's hands, comforting her, "Sierra, relax. Take your time and tell me. What's going on? What did you find out?"

With a distant look and a serious tone, Sierra revealed, “Auntie, Tyrone is Horace's illegitimate son."

Rita was shocked and her mouth was wide open. "Sierra, are you serious?"

"I'm not making this up." Sierra forced a smile that didn't reach her eyes, her mood dark. "I heard it myself, from a conversation between Horace and Blayze."

Rita studied Sierra's face, looking for any sign of dishonesty. But she found none.

Seeing Rita's shocked face, Sierra's eyes flickered with a hint of mockery. “Auntie, remember how Horace treated Tyrone and Sabrina?"

Rita looked down, lost in thought. The surprise was still fresh but she was starting to trust Sierra's words.

Past uncertainties were now making sense. No wonder, after Horace met Tyrone the other day, Horace wanted her back in Violetholt, ready to break ties with Sierra. It wasn't about avoiding drama with the Blakelys, or fear. It was because Tyrone was his own son.

And it explained why Horace pushed her to accept Sabrina into the Fowler family. It wasn't just about Sabrina's qualities. Sabrina was Tyrone's ex-wife. Maybe Tyrone didn't know his true lineage, or perhaps he did but didn't want to return to the Fowlers. So, Horace hoped Sabrina could bring them closer.

Sierra watched Rita, knowing she was piecing it together.
