Chapter: 1956
“We'll get it done once we're out of here."
"Deal!"
As they exited the bathroom, Tyrone glanced at Sabrina and inquired, “Everything alright?"
Sabrina gestured to her forehead and then to Jennie's, without words.
"Tyrone, I've decided on a new hairstyle, with bangs," Jennie announced.
Getting the hint, Tyrone grinned and ruffled Jennie's hair. “Alright, let's get that haircut. Then, we will treat ourselves to a feast, sound good?"
"Cool."
“What do you want to eat?"
Jennie thought for a moment. "KFC."
After completing the discharge paperwork, Jennie took Sabrina and Tyrone by the hand, all smiles as they left the hospital. Life was much nicer without Keilani around. Jennie wished Keilani would stay away for good.
They headed straight for the mall upon leaving the hospital, following Tyrone's directions to the driver.
This mall boasted a fancy barber shop and a KFC.
During the drive, Tyrone answered a phone call. “Hey, Sergio... Oh, really? That's great news... Sure, Sabrina and I wouldn't miss it... Yeah, see you."
Once he ended the call, Sabrina curiously inquired, “Was that Sergio on the phone? What did he say?"
“Marnie had a boy. He was just letting us know. Don't forget we've got to celebrate the baby's full month next month.”
Sabrina, surprised, responded, "She's already had the baby? That seems fast." She was aware of Marnie's pregnancy, but it seemed too early for the birth.
“There was an accident and the baby came early. Luckily, the baby's doing just fine."
"I see..." Sabrina nodded, then smiled. "Claire always bugged Sergio about getting married and having kids. Looks Like he's checked both those boxes in one year."
Tyrone gave Sabrina a look and said, "Sergio's ahead of me in that area."
Sabrina found herself at a loss for words.
